Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal information Fantrive collects, why we collect it, who sees it, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it plain and short.
1. Who we are
Fantrive is a platform where members choose their interests, complete short tasks such as videos, quizzes and social actions, and can withdraw their approved rewards on an activated plan. This policy applies to our website and member area. By creating an account or using the site you agree to it, together with our Terms.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: full name, username, email address, country, and your password (stored only as a one-way hash, never in plain text).
- Profile details: optional WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat handles, your interests, and your profile photo or chosen avatar.
- Payout details: the bank account, mobile money number or crypto wallet you save for withdrawals, and the account holder name. For Nigerian bank accounts we confirm the account name through our payment partner Paystack.
- PINs: your withdrawal and transfer PINs, stored only as one-way hashes.
- Plan payment proof: the receipt or payment details you upload when you activate a plan.
- Community and support messages: anything you post in the community or send to support.
Information created as you use the service
- Activity and balances: tasks completed, rewards earned, referrals, withdrawals, plan upgrades and transaction history.
- Referral data: your referral code and the members who joined with it.
- Technical data: basic device and browser information and server logs needed to run and secure the site.
Visitor counts on our landing page
If you click Accept on our cookie banner, we record a random visitor ID, when you first and last visited, how many visits you made, whether you used a phone or computer, and the website that sent you (for example google.com). We do not store your IP address for this. If you decline, none of this is recorded.
3. How we use it
- To create and run your account, show your balances and history, and let you earn and withdraw.
- To verify payments and payout accounts, and to review upgrade and withdrawal requests.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, duplicate accounts and misuse of rewards, and to keep the platform secure.
- To show achievements such as withdrawals and plan upgrades in the community feed, using your display name and avatar.
- To answer support requests and send you important notices about your account.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (only for visitors who accept cookies).
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Third-party content on our pages
Some pages load files from other services, which means your browser contacts them directly and they can see your IP address and browser details:
- Font Awesome (icons) through cdnjs.
- jsDelivr (public bank logo and crypto icon files).
- Google (small website icons used as logos for some payment providers).
These services have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is open. Transaction, payment and withdrawal records may be kept for longer where we need them for accounting, dispute handling, fraud prevention or legal reasons. Visitor counts are kept in an anonymous form. When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymise it.
8. Security
We protect your data with measures such as hashed passwords and PINs, session protection on forms, limits on repeated wrong password attempts, and restricted admin access. No website can be 100% secure, so please use a strong, unique password, keep your PINs private, and never share them with anyone. Our staff will never ask for your password or PIN.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct information that is wrong (you can edit most details on your profile page);
- ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law;
- object to or restrict certain uses of your information;
- withdraw your consent, for example by declining cookies, without affecting what happened before.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm it is really you first. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
10. Age limit
Fantrive is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, please tell us and we will remove the account.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will tell you on the site. Continuing to use Fantrive after a change means you accept the updated policy.
